They are in danger of not getting out of the group in UCL because of Onana's individual mistakes. Onana was a very good goalkeeper last year, but he cannot show the same consistency this year. If only it had been better, Manchester United would not have suffered surprise point losses.
For now, saying that they are in danger of not qualifying is not really suitable now because they will most likely not qualify if there is no miracle.
Some of the situations faced by Onana are not very good because of his performance which is still far from good but Manchester United's failure in the Champions League at this time does not all have to blame Onana because after all, even though Onana made a lot of mistakes but the club's defeat was the fault of the whole team not just individuals and that does not mean other players also did not make mistakes.
At the moment Onana cannot be defended but we also have to be objective because the problem is not only about Onana's blunders but Manchester United's strategy and way of playing as well as internal problems also interfere which definitely makes their performance now worse.
Of course, there are flaws in the players on the team. I don't think Onana is the only one to blame. Erik ten Hag, who cannot read the game and make the necessary moves, is one of the culprits. If there is still no success despite huge transfer budgets, I attribute this to the wrong player transfers and the coach.
