A win against Girona from Barcelona will not even make Barcelona go above Girona, they'll be having 37 points bit a win remains a win for Barcelona. The odds are also in the favor of them. Form matters Barcelona though have just seen a game lost at home and Girona the visitors have seen no lose so far. That's such a good form and Barcelona shouldn't underate them in this fixture. I would love to see how Girona reacts to another big side in La Liga. They failed to share points with Real Madrid, can they do same against Barcelona?
Barcelona last two games though has shown improvements. They should win this game. Glad to see Felix puting them ( Barcelona ) ahead against his parent club. Celebrating against them shows he doesn't care about the criticism from them fans, he'll want to leave completely.
Barcelona has the ambition to reduce the points gap from Madrid and Girona, that is the way to keep the championship trophy in the glass cupboard at the end of the season. On paper, Girona will lose points, exactly the same as when they faced Madrid, but it doesn't rule out the possibility of the opposite happening. Xavi certainly understands that he needs to watch out for Girona in a different way this season, because Girona improvement in performance is not the result of luck alone.
For Michel as Girona coach, they also have the ambition to record perfect points, to stay by Madrid side. Realistically, the maximum point that can be achieved is 1, in the sense that they can force Barcelona to share the points, the rest requires great luck to realize the ambition of 3 points. Apart from all that, Girona presence in the top four of the standings makes us all entertained.
Interesting! Girona with this form remain a big threat to the top club in La Liga. Having them at the top makes me smile, they've shown what discipline, togetherness and consistency can do on any club. They're not having world class players but team work makes the dream work. Every game, I grow this love for me. Against Barcelona? Lol Catalians have got to stay woke, they'll have to show they're superior others. The hunt for the top would be difficult!
Barcelona remains my number 1 club to win this years La Liga tittle. I'm not giving up on em. They've just been hit hard with injuries. Why the rumours of selling Robert Lewandoski? Valid?
