The tactics applied by Xabi Alonso seem to want all players to have individual skills in scoring goals. Making whatever you want can create your own opportunities and this is quite unique in my opinion. Not many coaches emphasize plays like this anymore in football. Because what we see now is more emphasis on one central player who is the goal scorer. I really agree that this tactic needs to be developed by Xabi at Leverkusen so that it will create more stability in attacks from all directions and be able to fill the void if a striker is injured but his goal scoring effectiveness can still be demonstrated. Xabi Alonso plus point has made Leverkusen players have a high selling value from what they have achieved this season. The individual abilities that continue to be developed do not rule out the possibility that Leverkusen graduates will be highly sought after by big European teams.
Just like Pep Guardiola during his time at Barcelona, Xabi Alonso has come up with a very unique pattern that's not only made him one of the young successful managers currently but has transformed his team Leverkusen into a strong club that other clubs in the league are scared of playing against, Leverkusen are now very good at both attack and defense making it hard for them to concieve goals and easy for the midfielders to distribute ball to the attack, they now play very fantastic and it's always Interesting to watch them play.
I know it might seem a little difficult to stop Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga but with the way they're going I won't be suprised if Leverkusen creates history for themselves under the managerial era Xabi Alonso by winning the Bundesliga title, well it's too early to conclude yet but let's fold our hands and see what this season unfolds, the question is would Leverkusen bottle the league like Dortmund last season? Or who Bayern Munich lose their Dominance in the Bundesliga?
