He has also had competition to get starters and he has also managed to get rid of Raphael Varane in terms of defense. Well, great job Harry Maguire and I hope he can be more stable in helping Manchester United's defense this season.

We have to appreciate the mentality that Harry Maguire has. It's not easy for a defender to be mentally in the midst of the scathing criticism he receives, not even just criticism but rather the insults that I see on some social media. But Harry Maguire doesn't seem to care about that and he continues to try to show that he can still improve and give the best for the team he defends. With the award he got it was a bit of an answer to the scathing criticism directed at him. I hope he can give his best and not be satisfied with what he's showing at the moment. Criticism must be used as motivation, he did that so he could win this award.
