First of all, the user in question has *49* posts since 2014. It doesn't matter if he was registered in 2009 or 1998. I don't know him and I don't think anyone should trust him *by default*, which is why it's important to let people know about the risks.
You pretty much know that your "letting know people about the risks" is a special treatment across this board made pretty much on a purpose when people want to make a promotion of some project harder in order to make some pressure just for OP to pay for a campain :-) I am an old enough user here to know about strategies old members use here, so there is absolutely no need to make these turnarounds about trust etc. If you had no personal issues with the project you wouldn't write something like this or would simply ignore the thread.
