since last season I thought there was something different with Leverkusen after Xabi served as coach there and at the start of this season I also felt the same thing if Leverkusen had a strong and consistent performance without being defeated and to this day is still at the top of standings without defeat and I also saw an interesting strategy from Xabi, he can always provide a defensive strategy if he is unable to beat his opponent and hold the score to a draw.

maybe we have to patiently wait until Xabi succeeds in bringing Leverkusen to higher level with several titles and if this is successful it looks like Xabi needs new experience moving to another team to be able to get same results and if successful Xabi will be another talented coach.
Leverkusen this season became an uprising, their resilient efforts, team spirit and bonding, they started the season with one thing in mind and Alonso their boss is doing his best to keep his team on the right track.  It's really impressive that he's proven to be a good manager. He's had more positive impacts to the team than ever before and at the times where they've been meant to reduce in their pressure, they still didn't, it's very much certain that they've played 99% of all their games with extra zeal. The whole Leverkusen technique and style have been improved and it's giving the whole team a whole new, different and positive vibe.

The end of the season is so much waited as the results looming is likely going to match the result we'd get. Alonso's journey with Leverkusen is one lesson to be learnt, he was nearly underrated but now he deserves an overrating. He's proved his unique style and he's really enjoying the change and difference he's brought to the German League. I believe he's very much impressed with himself.
