The winning mentality and the power of money that this clearly has will be very difficult to beat for several clubs especially we know in the last decade it is not uncommon for great players who are in several clubs in the Bundesliga to belong to Bayern which actually strengthens their strength.
Not a few players who really contributed to belonging to Bayern so that the hegemony they created was not lost which resulted in other clubs in the Bundesliga having difficulty destroying the dominance that has been maintained over the past decade.
At the moment the chances of several clubs are still there, especially maybe for Leverkusen but if in the end there are some changes in terms of players and coaches in the transfer market later, this could also be a condition where it is difficult for several clubs to strengthen their consistency. Now Leverkusen still has a great chance to compete in the Bundesliga, it's just that for the championship I still doubt they can replace Bayern.
Leverkussen at first convinced me with their games,winning every game and drawing against Bayern Munchen but since I saw the game against Dortmund I immediately retreat my thinking about them,a team without ideas in the second half of that game and most of the game,they were attacking and keeping the ball while the goal chances could be counted with the fingers of one hand at that second half.
I know Dortmund is a strong team but they let open field to Leverkussen as they got back in defense,something Leverkussen could not translate to their advantage and as such I believe that they are a contender though not as strong as I thought.
I dont think facing Dortmund can be used as a benchmark because after all Dortmund are one of the best clubs at the moment so the draw is actually very good especially with the dominance that Leverkusen showed in this match.
Leverkusen will still be very good if Xabi still shows his slick performance in bringing the boys to a good consistency it's just that for me now even if Leverkusen are like that but this will not make a difference because they will only trouble Bayern for Champions but not to replace the hegemony that Bayern is doing.
Now its all about how they keep the scheme and the players and of course a few more players to keep the rotation going well in a busy schedule could be a very good thing.
