I think the result of this match would have been different if Crystal Palace had not received a red card. Liverpool did dominate the game but they struggled to create opportunities. Definitely would have been a different outcome if Ayew wasn’t show a second yellow card and that was what Liverpool capitalized on, they got an equalizing goal just after the red card was shown. Crystal palace immediately got demoralized and it affected their performance and they couldn’t just hold on and Liverpool took the lead at the extra minutes. Since the start of the season Liverpool has been lucky to comeback from behind after conceding first and it’s as if they are good at comebacks. Liverpool are currently top of the table but if Arsenal wins Aston Villa they will fall back to second position.
