Crystal Palace is doing a great job by leading Liverpool 1-0, they have already played 65 minutes in the match. Although Liverpool is dominating the game and they are creating more chances, but we know how difficult it is to defeat Crystal Palace at home; therefore, Liverpool will now be hoping to get an equalizer soon so that they can think of winning the match, else they will be looking for a draw.
Liverpool has a very good record of scoring goals in the final minutes of games like Arsenal and Tottenham this season in the competition. One Crystal Palace player made a bad tackle and has been sent off. It did not take Salah of Liverpool long to score and equalize to make the game now 1-1. There is enough time for Liverpool to win the game because they now see the possibility of winning the game to go top on the table. I do not see anyway the goal will be inevitable for Liverpool if Crystal Palace choose to defend. They have to try to balance out the game and cool the pressure that Liverpool is putting on them.
I must say I'm proud of Liverpool this season, and in fact, I deserve an accolade for my predictive prowess. Liverpool was "nothing to write home about" last season when I predicted that they were out of the woods already. I know many didn't believe me, people are such that love to see reality before they believe, but in practice, those who see things further time before they become a reality are the rulers of this world. Liverpool under Klopp has delivered a lot and has continued to show that they are on top of their game as they only had a few minutes of challenges unlike Man U and Chelsea whose challenges are still yet to be fixed for years. Well, I expected Liverpool to hold the top of the table temporarily when Man City made a costly mistake by letting Aston Villa beat them, but they will need to continue this way so that the near standing of Man City and Arsenal will not cause an issue for them.
Permit me to say that Liverpool is my favourite to win this season, they are just like the underdogs, and you know I love underdogs' kind of performance and results. Although they need more improvements as they didn't do well in the first half of the match with Crystal Palace but later tried better. However, I wonder if they would be able to do well with a better club, well, it's until that happens before we can totally judge. This takes me to the fact that I can't wait for what will happen in their matches with Man U and Arsenal this month, they are the only challenging matches I see in front of them for the rest of this year. Oh, Aston Villa is inclusive. Though the Man U match might be well underestimated by people, but I will not do that at this time. And if Liverpool could beat the three matches, it would be another step closer to their winning the trophy this season.
Let's hope Liverpool continues in their current trend and is strong enough to win their upcoming games to place them in the top position since they are accumulating a lot of points at the moment.
