Unfortunately, the forum moderation policy states that scam or scam accusations are not in their scope of moderation, as it will take a lot of time and work for the moderators to determine if a service is a scam or not. It will also cause a lot of disputes which the forum admins are not ready to moderate.
The good thing is that DT members can tag and flag profiles that promote scam. Anybody who cares to do some due diligence will be able to see the warnings.
It is necessary to at least disable the ability to create self-moderated topics for beginners and users without reputation. It is not difficult to do, but there are many benefits. Scammers are currently removing malware warnings from their threads. Additionally, you cannot add a warning flag for self-moderated topics. Thus, while the moderator sees the complaints, inexperienced users who have not read the warning in the comments can download the virus onto their computer.
