To be honest, it's been a long time since I saw Hugo Lloris' performance and even though he is still at Spurs, his position has been replaced by a fairly young goalkeeper, namely Guglielmo Vicario. Currently, it seems like he no longer has coach Ange's trust and is just spending time on the bench. If Newcastle are interested in bringing him in as a replacement for Nick Pope this season, that's not a problem considering he is a good goalkeeper who is very experienced. Newcastle don't need to provide long-term contracts, at least they can take out a season-long loan, which is good enough and won't cost a lot.
