~snip~Ronaldo is the same kind of guy and it is love him or hate him, but one thing was always certain: he scored loads of goals no matter what. So would a team really dismiss a player because that player can be arrogant? I doubt it when the players is one of the best in the world most teams would gladly accept some of the arrogance.
Only a stupid club will carry out this dismissal because after the dismissal many clubs will come to bring in Ronaldo. about being arrogant or something like that is already a character, but of course there is a reason for that attitude. The best players are also humans and they have traits that may be unpredictable. Now the important thing is how the player performs on the field.
It's a trait that the player has to deal with. I think it is the player's choice to decide how to behave on and off the pitch, but especially for arrogant players their attitude can backfire against themselves. If they score goals, nobody will complain and they know it. If they don't score goals, everybody will complain and they expect it. Whatever someone thinks about arrogance and I really dislike arrogance as well, the fact of the matter is that goals count. I remember Balotelli and how he fucked up his career because he did not score goals all the time. He sometimes did and then that was his best excuse. But when he stopped scoring, he got into trouble. That's the price arrogant players pay.
