I don't remember it's name. It might have had "monkey" in its name. It's not the one being advertised now (or maybe it still is but it is not appearing to me). I'm sure there aren't hundreds of mixers that advertised here so if you or anyone can list the ones that advertised here, I am certain seeing the name again would ring a bell. This was last year. The amount they took was $7 worth at the time. I remember I was going make a post at the time but was procrastinating because of the effort I had to put in into making a thorough post (because I was really pissed at the time and I wanted to make a really good post) but obviously I never got to it. I emailed them when it happened but they didn't get back to me.
Right now I was looking into using a mixer again and while posting my last post I realized there is another mixer being advertised here. I was going to make a post titled "Are mixers %100 effective?"...my footnote of this post...but then my previous experience came back to me so the title and post changed.
I'm also certain I am not the only one this happened to so I guess the purpose of this post is just to put it out there and see what others experiences were, if they manages to get their money back, how, what happened to that site...etc.
Every mixer has a minimum and if you send less than that it is treated as a donation. Even at Bitcoin's lowest price in the past year, $7 would have at max gotten you around 0.00043 BTC which is well below the minimum required by every mixer that is well known in the forum. That's not even enough to cover the fees at several mixers. You should have read their terms carefully.
