your observation is correct. Man United didn't have a game that looked like a team. There is no figure at Man United who is the driving force for other players to play well. they only play individually to show off their own skills.
when Man United players can really realize that, and change their playing patterns to be able to play better as a team. maybe they can end the season better. If not, perhaps there is nothing to expect from the Ten Hag squad this season.
Man UTD just has selfish players who are more interested in putting their names on the score sheet than allowing another who has a better shot at the goal post to do so. Yesterday game just proved that weakness again because if they had put the team first, I'm sure they won't have been struggling to get a goal. I never saw anything special with the way Bayern Munich played against Man UTD, and as such they would have capitalized on that. The thing is only if they have played with so much togetherness I believe they would have gotten a win last night. But it still points to one problem, which is their selfish style of play.
