I think Manchester City will still become the champion. After the failure, they are likely to be quite active again in the transfer market and will be more balanced along the lines this season.
Manchester city is most definitely going to get back on their feet and will probably be back on the race to the top of the league table, I'm sure they are sure going to utilize the January transfer window well enough to be able to strengthen their team because I'm sure not only do they want to win the premier league but the champion's league aswell.
Gardiola is a very determined coach who wouldn't want to end the league without winning a trophy so the temporary set back they are currently facing is such that I'm sure gardiola would get to the root soonest and make sure it's resolved, but then Manchester city still have a good team dept and he can aswell achieve a lot with the current players he have, he only needs to restrategise with a new tactics with which he will be able to achieve more wins and further get back to the top of the table but then I'm very sure they will be able to still make it to the top four in a worse case.
