and Dortmund was better than now
Newcastle and Manchester (both United) didn't managed to get at least 3rd spot and continue European path, probably worst CL group stage for English teams, at least as I remember it
maybe some statistician better than me would pull-out a season where more than 2 English teams finished 4th in CL group stage
