people who have a good mindset, when they are lonely they will do positive things like watching movies or playing games and it is better for them to have direct contact with their friends or family. escape when lonely by playing games is not a problem, by playing games they can make new friends if they play online-based games, this can also reduce the risk of loss if they do gambling. with the number of online games today and various kinds of genres that can also be played, they can just download and play it and also this does not drain their pockets.

Instead of gambling which could drain their pockets not to mention other risks, the pleasure of each person is different and it cannot be about, so I don't mind those whose pleasure is in gambling, it's just that I hope they have limits and a level of awareness, I mean don't let gambling control our thoughts which could be detrimental to yourself.
Loneliness can engage people in addictive behaviors in a variety of ways. People may consider gambling as a way to escape from their loneliness because gambling can give people temporary pleasure in excitement. Moreover, people can choose gambling where they can have an identity with gamblers through which they can end their loneliness. Some people think that loneliness increases people's depression, so if they gamble, they can take away the human stress. A lot of people want to end their loneliness and they want to be in some kind of activity when they cannot create the right environment then gambling is a good option for them. Loneliness can be a stepping stone to any addiction, not just gambling.

yes you are right, gambling will only provide temporary pleasure. i myself am among those who think so, when they are lonely and they do gambling then they are likely to date if they can't help themselves to gamble, because someone who is lonely is likely to have an empty mind and when they do something then they will do it with a sense of desire, also with feelings that might make them happy to do gambling then they are likely to become addicted to gambling.

If they gamble with the aim of relieving stress in my opinion it is wrong, not wrong but just not right if they do gambling to relieve stress, because in gambling it involves money, and money is of course what we need every day if the money just disappears it will even bring upset, right?
If they really want to relieve stress, they should do other things that are more useful such as sports or watching movies, gathering with family or friends.
