Maybe one reason for the weak performances we saw from Manchester City was the absence of their player Kevin De Bruyne. However it's not good for any team to be dependent to a payer even if he is experienced and skilled like Kevin De Bruyne, but I think if Kevin De Bruyne returns to the squad in Manchester City we can see better performance from this team.

Kevin is very important with Manchester City because he is one of best key makers with so many assist in Premier League. His absence does affect Manchester City performance in attacking but he is old and surely will have more issues with injuries. They must prepare for a day no longer has contribution from Kevin and this season can be a start of this. As a big and rich club, with abundant money for player transfer, they will have more advantage to find a replacement for Kevin. Not a complete lost, but they lost 2 points because they failed to keep the game after leading 2-0 in the first 55 minutes. It is obvious that many people lost their money if they placed a bet on City to win the game. Not really sure why but maybe missing Haaland give too much effect for the whole team. They created 19 goals attempts with 9 shots on goal but only 2 became goals. Something different may happen if there was Haaland in the field but unfortunately he is injured.
Manchester City clearly have a considerable decrease in their performances after the last massively successful season but this season is still long and they have enough time to improve and come back to compete for Premier League title. It is not too late for them to comeback but they must change and improve themselves as it is most important factor for their chance in the title race.In this match, it's very disappointed to lose the big advantage like this and even with Haaland, I am not sure they will score more goals because the striker has his own problems in this season too.
