How did you convince your father to invest in Bitcoin? I hope you didn't pressure him into it, considering he is the one taking the financial risk, not you. Your father is entrusting you with his money, so you should invest it carefully. Investing in your father's money can sometimes hurt your relationship with him. If you fail, he may lose trust in you in the future. If I were you, I would focus on finding a job or doing well in your studies so that you can afford to invest in your future. As you are currently young, it is not your money, and investing now may negatively impact your father's source of income.
I don't think anyone should have any difficulty in convincing their parents about anything. He is the only son of his father and his father must be trusting his son and giving him capital. It is natural that an only child is very pampered. Therefore, there is no pressure in it. I don't think there is so much risk involved in investing in Bitcoin that it can lead to capital loss. Every business can have success and failure so there should be no fear of failure while starting any business.
Your idea of completing education is fine, but instead of looking for a job, it is best if he does his own business, because his father is also not doing a job but doing his own business. A father's money is his son money, so it should never be thought that a son can squander his father's money. Most people take over their father's business and develop it further. There is no room for these things in the relationship between father and son.
I think the parents will always be reluctant to invest in bitcoins if they do not know about it. Even if their sons or daughters told them the benefits of bitcoin and crypto, they would still not agree as the parents always think that their children are not so intelligent enough to take such financial decisions.
Parents have worked all life to gather and save money, and it will be hard for the kids to ask their father to risk their money in the bitcoin assets class. Although we know that bitcoin investment is safe but anyone who hasn't heard about bitcoin before, will never invest in it, unless he has some experience using bitcoin and knows the history and ecosystem of bitcoin.
I agree with @virasog.
I'm asking OP how he can convince his father, who is a business owner, to invest in Bitcoin. His father might be reluctant unless he already knows about Bitcoin or is aware that it is not a scam. I hope that the OP did not use his status as their father's only son to pressure him into investing. While it's natural for parents to pamper their only child, selling too many cows could negatively impact their farming business and his education. The money that belongs to the father does not automatically belong to the son unless the son has inherited it or his father gives it to him.
