Manchester City relent and this cause them to share points with Crystal Palace unexpectedly, no one saw this coming and it just happened before anyone could thought of it. Crystal Palace was not dominating but they did play to become one of the very competitive club that poses threat on City ground. The eagles sacking Patrick Viera from the headcoach position and returning to give the former coach, Roy Hodgson a second chance of examining his position and he was appointed as headcoach for the second time, and he's trying to make things right. Crystal Palace traveled to Etihad Stadium and settle for draw points.
I think Man City was too confident too early and they became complacent when they were ahead with a score of 2-0. They dominated the game and thought they would get an easy win, it's just that they forgot that anything can happen in football, and in the end, they were punished for this. The enthusiasm and motivation that Crystal Palace has deserves appreciation. They didn't give up quickly even though they were 2-0 behind and the enemy they faced was Man City.
I agree, arrogance seems to be their biggest trouble and even though they do have plenty of players missing, and that is why if it was 2-2 in some other way I would have understood the problem, this was just being too overconfident with the result before they game was over. That's why there is a saying that goes "Do not count your eggs before hatching", it just easy to think that you already won the game and then suddenly you could lose, they were ahead 2-0 by 80+ minutes so they naturally thought that Palace would roll over and accept their faith but in just two moves they suddenly got there and that's the difference maker.
Now City put their championship run at risk, they are going to be a bit far off, and may not have the chance to recover that easily this time around. I believe that they still have a chance to win the title, but not like they have to win every single year neither, we need to accept the fact that they may end up losing this season all together.
