Yep, this is not very good for Sevilla but indeed when looking at the current conditions and the situation of Sevilla in recent seasons, especially for the beginning of the season, they always have the same performance, I am actually not too surprised by the results they have, it's just that this is quite upsetting to see.
Sevilla are too focused on the attack but they forget the defense that should be well guarded. Even though they applied 5 defenders but Getafe's fast counterattacks actually made some of the defenders they had unable to return to their positions.
Currently with the current situation, it's actually not very good for Sevilla but when looking at their schedule which will only focus on La Liga and the Copa del Rey alone I think this will still be very good for them and they can still return to mid-table positions even though they have to give up positions in the Champions League and Europa League next season.
It is true, Sevilla's poor performance has been going on since last season, but they were very lucky to win the Europa League title and with that they qualified for the Champions League. This season their performance is getting worse, they have even suffered too many defeats in both La Liga and the Champions League. I think the problem they are currently facing is not the coach's incompetence, but the depth of the squad which must be immediately improved.
Regarding the Valencia vs Barcelona match, it was a match that was very unexpected. Barcelona has once again failed to win a match in its last 5 matches, meaning Barcelona has lost 7 points in 5 consecutive matches. Of course, this makes Barcelona even further behind in the standings, and the point difference will be even bigger if Real Madrid and Girona both win their matches this week. Xavi has really been under pressure this season, but I don't think Barcelona is finished yet.
