We don't usually see such poor defensive gameplay in the Premier League. And so I was very disappointed with Manchester United's performance in today's match. The players of Manchester United did not make any attempt to score. Manchester United is not a weak team. Despite having a strong squad, Manchester United's performance has been poor. But I would have been happy if Liverpool had won. Because in today's match, we are only dominated by Liverpool. I saw 69% possession of the ball by Liverpool players. Imo, Man Utd showed some class today against Liverpool compared to their 0-3 defeat at home to Bournemouth last week. What this means is that Liverpool was supposed to win effortlessly.

Recall that Man Utd has 12+ players either on suspension or injured yet they were able to hold off a Liverpool team that has looked unstoppable in recent games.

This was a fine performance from Man Utd and they did have some good chances here and there like that Hojlund encounter with Alisson Becker.

I think a lot of bad luck was on Liverpool tonight and more specifically on Alexander Arnold which had at least 3 goals opportunities in the second half which he should have at least converted once.Manchester United has done what they needed to do to get at least one point from this game considering that they come after so much bad results recently and this for them can be considered a good result.

Of course the bookies have gone somewhat wrong with the odds,despite Liverpool being the favorite in this game you cannot give to any team 1.30 odds when playing against Manchester United at home no matter who they are just for the history that Manchester United has.

Both teams had difficulties in netting the post because united also missed three good opportunities.
