We are mostly given excuses of missing a single player whenever Manchester City lose a match, we are yet to admit that Manchester City is not in a good form this season, but I admit that the absence of KDB from the beginning of the season actually affected them but generally they are not too good like they used to be.
Arsenal and Liverpool this season have more squad depth than Manchester City because even if they have one or two players injured, they do perform and avoid losing match. Nevertheless, Manchester City is still the top favorite to win the premier league but Arsenal are my favorites because I think they can’t do the same mistake as they did last season.
I think it's fair to say that their overall performance this season hasn't been as stellar as in the past. They have the best squad in the league despite the squad is smaller than Arsenal's and Liverpool's, because their squad players have almost no quality gap between them. Squad depth indeed plays a crucial role in a team's ability to cope with injuries and maintain consistency, but Guardiola uses rotation method to injuries which has been succeeded before.
Manchester City is indeed still the top favorite to win the Premier League despite their current form aligns with the general perception of the team's capabilities. I believe Manchester City remains strongest team in the tittle race even without Kevin de Bruyne. Arsenal is another favorite who need to have ability to learn from past experiences and perform better, because that's the the right mentality to be a champion.
