Last season, Napoli dominated the Italian Serie A and despite Inter Milan's brilliance of last season that saw them reach the final UEFA Champions League league, they couldn't match Napoli's performance in the Italian league. However, Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has taken it upon himself to make sure he rewrites that particular story of concerning the dominance of the Italian league this season and his determination to make sure his side dominates the most part of the league this season as well as winning the league at the end of the season has seen Inter Milan deliver incredible performances in the league since the start of the season. They've undoubtedly been the most consistent team in the Italian Serie A but how they've managed to win most of the away games against top teams in the league this season has completely been a surprise to me. Lazio as we all know is a strong Italian team but just like majority of the opponents Inter Milan faced in the league this season, they were convincingly defeated yesterday as Inter Milan extended their lead at the top of the table back to four points.
Inter Milan has been performing exceptionally well in the UEFA Champions League since the start of the season but I think they're more focused in winning the Italian Serie A title at the end of the season more than they're interested in winning the UCL and if they can continue with their current form in the league, I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop them from winning the league this season.
Napoli disbanded after the departure of coach Luciano Spalletti. Is Rudi Garcia fully responsible for Napoli's decline in form? I think Garcia and De Laurentiis are responsible for the club's lackluster results. Even their star duo, Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, are not in good form now.
Since the beginning of the season, Juventus and Inter Milan have formed a two-horse race, competing for the Serie A rankings. But Inter Milan has all the elements to become the new king of Serie A, even though Juventus has a slight advantage because it does not have to participate in the European Cup.
