Real Madrid was just so good against them, they couldn’t show anything at all and the better side just got more goals. Madrid was in total control and went 2 goals up before the end of the first half, Villarreal was able to put one back not too long into second half and we all thought it was game on and we might see a comeback but Madrid showed how determined they were to top the league they were outstanding and the scoreling proves they can do better.
We still need to see the outcome of the game between Girona vs Alaves and see where the outstanding performance puts Real Madrid. If Girona wins they will still retain their first place and Madrid will be second place with 2 points behind Girona.
Girona will be a point ahead of Madrid if they win their game against alaves today, Girona will be playing from home and I think their home advantage is such that they will be able to utilize well enough to get a win considering their recent performance and form, especially the win against Barcelona turned out a good boost for them which I think will definitely help them against alaves.
Real Madrid needs to widen the point gap between them and alaves els they will be risking their chances of been the la Liga title, they will only be hoping on getting the champions league. I doubt if Girona will loose in today's game, because Alaves is an average team and their performance this season isn't that good enough to match the kind of performance Girona has got so I will say alaves may only try to prevent conceding too many goals but I still fear if girona could get such many goals against Barcelona then with alaves it may be a rain of goals.
