Hello, new bitcointalk user, been around on this site for around a year or so, just never decided to create an account. I’ve seen people with tons of merit! But yet I have not a single clue on how to gain any, whilst people have thousands! Pretty much a newbie when it comes to posting

Wow, 😲 you are speculating this forum for over a year and now you think of creating the account. i mean that's seem dumb because what benefit in spending 1 year in just speculating the forum while the real fun was in creating account and engaging with daily discussion. Well, I will not ask what kept you intact with this forum while you had no interaction with it.. But any help works, thank y’all!The answer to your question is really easy. Which is you will earn as much merits as much you will contribute to this forum. Contribution in the form of making useful topics and helping others. The more you contribute the more merits you can get. I said can because it is not sure that you will get merits or not. Because you might be thinking this topic would be of any contribution to the forum but you are not getting any merits on that. Its because that topic might not be of contribution for those who have already read it hundred times.
