I noticed there has been some topics about how first time winning is dangerous. What I am saying is someone that has not gamble before, to gamble and win. That it is dangerous. Yes it may be dangerous because the person may have the exciting mind to gamble more and lose. But that is not the whole true story.
The main reason is because they think gambling is a way money can be made. Unless they change their the way they think about gambling, that gambling is is not a money making means, first time win or loss is not necessarily the cause of their addiction.
But newbies who just won on their first tries are more likely to get hooked because of the feeling that it is easy money, although we cannot rule out that even if newbies lose on their first try they can still get addicted, it is on the character of the newbies some newbies are persistent because they have seen other gamblers who made a lot of money and they believe that if you continue playing, you will eventually find the luck and the knowledge to win in gambling, so they continue to win even though they are losing a lot of money.
Getting addicted to gambling is dependent on one's views about gambling. If a gambler sees gambling as a way to earn money, they are bound to get addicted to it eventually even if they get a profit in their first gambling session or not because they will always come back looking for profits as soon as they get money even if they have lost what they had, and when a person does that, nothing can stop them from getting addicted because they are not disciplined.
On the other hand, a person or a gambler who gambles not just for profit but finds it a fun and entertaining activity or hobby and they don't mind losing, winning makes them happier, of course. Such people will have lower chances of getting addicted to gambling and any other activity that they might find more interesting can easily take them away from gambling.
