it really irritates me whenever some1 mentions "oh no but what about the warranty" blah blah..
almost every1 overclocks the S1's, including Bitmain I imagine, and with the reset button, everything goes back to normal and overclocking is not traceable.
So, really, what it boils down to is Bitmain giving you the benefit of the doubt, which I think they will and do..
As such, overclocking should never be a concern and the 90 day warranty means NOTHING in this business. Heck, I ordered 21 miners from Bitmain and not once did I receive an invoice or a warranty with the miners, and I'm fine with that because Bitmain have more than earned my and everyone else's trust.
You dont get it.if someone in his own tos voids warranty because overclocking , and than he doing this himself regardless how units are good or bad dosn't look promising.
i'm not complaint, s1 are most reliable units ever. Warranty maybe is not needed but this is not reason to go against own tos.
Seems like any reason is good to not accept warranty and claim from buyer, even if this means miner have on clock already hours of work....for bitmain
