My point is that, if you apply your skills in the game that you are an expert of and learn its tactics and its flow then you rarely lose and only lose a little. If you don't know how to play the game, then of course you will lose more. In gambling, you should not rely on luck but also use your brain as well.  It is also crucial that you should really know how to manage your bankroll instead of spending your money aimlessly.

Anyways, you are right that it is better to use the money for business, but the problem is if you are not good at handling business then this will be going to lead you into bankruptcy. You should still study it so you can gain more ideas about what your business should be.
Gambling with skills and tactics like what you mean can indeed produce profits if you can predict it correctly and accurately, maybe you won't often experience defeat, but still this doesn't escape luck. All gambling games that use skill definitely require luck, but indeed Because of this luck, at least the gambler makes an effort to use skill.

But in my opinion, gambling with skills does not necessarily make us successful gamblers. I have seen many gamblers who gamble on sports games but they cannot be truly successful even though they have used the skills they have. There are ups and downs, except for professional gamblers who have full mastery of the skills. regarding the bets they usually play, of course gamblers like this make gambling a more promising part-time job but this is not an example for gamblers who have minimal experience and minimal skills because it will be difficult for them to build a successful career in gambling so they have to learn to hone their skills. seriously before daring to take risks.

managing a business is not easy, we also need to learn a lot about the business that we will master, but at least managing a business is not so bad when compared to the risks of gambling, besides that, a business is more supported by the family than a career in the world of gambling which is not necessarily promising. A business can be started small, it doesn't have to be big and with a small business it can certainly become big if you can manage it well.
