I understand that Manchester United is far from playing their best football. With the way other teams are performing it will be hard for them to make the champoins league spot. What Manchester United should do is to take their focus off the top 4 and make sure they can make the Europa league next season. But they should focus more on rebuilding the team next season.
Rather than forcing to qualify for Champions or Europa League, it's better for them to develop their club first.
They need to find two wingers, midfielders and few defenders. Although Onana sometimes make mistakes, but we have Bayindir who can replace Onana. While the other positions I mentioned before, Manchester United really lack of good players.
If I may ask, how does a club focus on one trophy like the champions league or the Europa League? You cannot have a target when you don't have a squad to actualise your goals. Manchester United is not in the race to qualify for the champions league and neither are they in the race to qualify for the Europa League. They are just playing without focus. Whenever it gets to a stage that club will be celebrating draw like a win, you will understand that the club is in trouble.
Chelsea is in the state that I described above. We saw it when they drew with Manchester city 4 : 4, the celebrated like they won and their subsequent matches were disaster. Last week, Manchester United drew with Liverpool and celebrated as if they won the league. Something is wrong.
I am laughing at you statement because you just said the fact. U myself, i was also happy that Manchester United was able to draw Liverpool because Manchester united is not in a good form to withstand Liverpool die to their poor performance since the beginning of this season. Their last two matches was also a lost, so many people already gave Liverpool the victory already even before the match started. Also last season, it was a flawless defeat on Manchester United with 7 goals to nothing. All these I mentioned made United fans to be happy when the game ended in a goalless draw.
I am also not in support with the jubilation because of a draw, instead of a win. This shows how weak that United are and their fans also understand that. I don't think that there will be a better chance for Manchester United to qualify to the champions league next season but I still believe that there is hope for then in Europa
