At first, I was thinking that Champions League fixtures together with League fixtures will be much for Inter Milan to lead them to dropping some points for Juventus to overtake them in the title race, but they are able to maintain their consistency in all competition and were still at the top of the Seria table.
Now that the Champions' League group stage is over, they have time to settle down and keep their consistency in order to win the League because only Juventus come close with 37 points, and for Juve to overtake them, they need to be winning all their matches including their match against Inter Milan.
No one should underestimate Inter this season in any competition they are involved in. They were runners up in the Champions League last season when they were beaten by Manchester City and they were the third team in the Serie A standings last season. This season Inter are doing better to gain success, but no one knows for sure how far they will be able to compete in Serie A and the Champions League, especially to win the title.
The title competition in Serie A this season is just about Inter and Juventus. Milan, Bologna and Napoli will compete for safety in the Champions League places, but they could also put pressure on the leaders as they all hope for points. The competition for the Champions League zone will be tougher than the title competition, this is evident from the points earned by each team in the 16 matches so far.
