Chelsea finally made it to the semifinals after winning the match against Newcastle united. Playing at home was not an advantage for Chelsea because they conceded early to Wilson but Mudryk was able to revive Chelsea hopes after managing to equalize in the final minutes of the match. I think winning on penalties was lucky for them because playing in normal time they were able to put a lot of pressure on Newcastle united but couldn't score a goal to win in normal half time.
Newcastle United take the lead in the early minutes of the first half, however it was as a result of Badiashile's mistakes as the last man, and mispossessed the ball to Callum Wilson who didn't failed to net a goal. This was hugh frustration for the defender and it actually ginger the performance of the Blues throughout the first and second halve. Atleast they were able to draw the game injury time and won the penalty shootouts. I must give the Chelsea second choice goalkeeper, Djordje Petrovic his flowers for saving crucial penalty from vital Newcastle players. Who depend on home ground for victory these days? Chelsea playing at Stamford Bridge doesn't mean they're subjected to winning the trophy because their opponent is not average but competitive and strong, the Magpies can be regarded to be as any other elite club in EPL.
