I think the reign of Manchester city seems to be over in both the champion League and the Premier League respectfully since Manchester City have been a twice title holder in both leagues so for now it become a pay back time for them and for such Manchester city have to leave the title for other clubs who are already making good use of the current state of things in the premier leagues to accumulate alot of points that will help them to remain at top competitive position before the final stage of the competition.
It's very true what you say. Indeed, there is nothing wrong with thinking that City still has a big chance, but it seems like the poor results obtained due to Haaland's absence in the last few matches shows that they have problems in attack. There is no finisher as good as Haaland in their team. That will be a problem, especially if a club relies heavily on the performance of a striker. Initially, without the presence of Kevin De Bruyne, City's performance did decline a little but they were still quite competitive. Currently, after several matches they don't have Haaland, I can say that The Citizens' performance is really bad at the moment.
Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland were two important figures in the Manchester City squad last season, so when one of them suffered an injury and was absent from defending the team, it certainly disrupted the team's performance, especially if both of them were not there.
However, if we talk about the possibility of winning the Premier League, I think Man City is still very much in the cards and with quite a lot of games remaining in this season, anything is still possible, especially as Manchester City is currently only 5 points behind Arsenal who are at the top of the standings Premier League.
It is true that the roles of Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland are very important in the squad, but Pep Guardiola knows what he has to do to overhaul his squad in this match and he has to really get used to staying focused on other players if Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland are absent because injured, so Pep Guardiola already knows which reserve players will be used. In the world of football, if you only rely on 1 or 2 players, it will not be possible to be successful in the future and of course it still requires teamwork to continue to develop well. That way, if one day one of the main players is absent, of course the other players can still make a good contribution to the squad to achieve victory.
I am also sure that Manchester City will definitely be more focused on facing their opponents in the remaining matches to achieve victory in the next match, so that they can continue to compete with Arsenal and Liverpool to win first place at the top of the standings or become champions of the English League this season.
