Girona really impresses game after game, really beautiful games. They are Real Madrid's serious competitors to win La Liga, and Real Madrid should not take this lightly. With the game like now, it feels very difficult for other teams to beat, unless they meet Real Madrid, Barcelona and ATM again in the second match, they could lose points.
Even if they meet them, I don't believe they can easily defeat Girona. Girona has shown a lot of strength and willingness to fight every team in order to maintain their high league position. I still believe in this team and believe that even in their second match, they can beat these big teams; they just need to stay consistent in their game and keep the momentum going.
I remain confident that this season Real Madrid will become La Liga champions, a difference of two points is very easy for Real Madrid to overcome. Girona will be in second or third place at the end of the season. Even so, Girona should be proud of their hard work to be able to qualify for the UCL League next season.
Girona reaching the Champions League next season should be one of their greatest achievements, but why settle for less when they still have the same chance as Real Madrid to win La Liga as it is now? They should fight for the league title rather than just a spot in the Champions League for next season.
