You have misinterpreted some things Loneline does not make anyone drug addict.  Loanlines can be an attraction for a gambler because when he gambles and loses and does not have enough money to re-deposit, he will try to borrow from others to recover his losses. So Lonelines can make a gambler more addicted to gambling. In this case, if he wins the gamble and recovers his losses, he can repay his loans, but if he loses and loses them too, he is in great danger. And this is why you should never gamble with a loan
Loneliness can make someone more susceptible to behaviors that we may think to be too risky, as if they had a friend to their side watching what they were doing they could tell them that what they are doing is wrong, but without that support it will be easier for someone to develop some issues, still this only increases the chances of this happening a little bit since such a state cannot really last for long, especially now that we live in a society in which you can contact with people from all over the world and drive away those feelings.

The world is advancing and people can easily share their problems, with their loved ones all over the world, but loneliness remains loneliness. When a person is alone he has no companion around, with whom he can discuss and feel happy, this challenge leads to boredom, and when bored playing games in a casino could be an alternative for the person. He has fun for the time being and sometimes would want some more fun. In his struggle for transient fun, he'd end up getting glued to his love for gambling. Have you ever noticed that those who engage us in discussion end up winning our hearts, and we tend to get used to their presence? The same applies to people who then see gambling as the only way of dealing with boredom or loneliness. And when such a person gets addicted to gambling he'll only help himself by raising an alarm to a close friend, that's if he's lucky enough to realize that he's now addicted. Because the study from psychotherapists, has proven that most gamblers wouldn't find out about their addiction until they find themselves in the middle of a serious gambling addiction.

Hence a gambler must keep check of himself when lonely and endeavor not to wager too much money or spend lots of time while gambling. He can substitute the fun with a video game. I know people want to make money at all costs, and a lonely person's thirst for money is quite too high compared to people with a roommate who can distract them from gambling to other realistic discussions. Loneliness helps a determined person to stay focused. And when a determined person redirects such a valuable skill into gambling, it could be detrimental to his mental health. As he may not be able to get the results he is expecting through gambling. With his determination he can persist in his search for money through gambling until he won't be able to determine his actions anymore, and he can't be saved because of lack of association with humans or friends. When we don't open up or share our problem, it'll be very hard to resolve or solve. Gambling addicts should learn how to speak up!
