After getting a very easy win against Bochum, Bayer Leverkusen become the first team in German football to go unbeaten in the first 25 games. I watched their impressive 4-0 win last night, showcasing excellent football with energy and precision. The team is in fantastic form, and Xabi Alonso is proving to be a great asset for the club. Perhaps it's their time to shine, at least in the first half of the season. Let's see if Bayern Munich can't disrupt their momentum, similar to what happened to Borussia Dortmund last season.
This is a new record for Leverkusen after beating Bochum with a record of never losing in 25 matches, of course this is a good start for Xabi Alanso's career as a coach. Jose Morinho's prediction The Special One is not wrong that Xabi Alonso will become the best coach in the world.
I think Leverksuen in the DFB Pokal alone is good, especially in the Bundesliga and European League, their performance is extraordinary. Hopefully the main players don't get injured in the second half. It makes me think that if Leverkusen wins the Bundesliga, Xabi will be the real genius because he bought cheap but polished players with full support. As long as they remain consistent and always play well by showing their best performance in every match and maintaining a positive winning trend, I don't think what happened to Dortmund will happen to Leverkusen.
