Bayern Leverkusen has been one wonder to watch in Europe especially in the Bundesliga and the Europa League amd credits must be given to Xabi Alonso and the players form especially how they’ve been able to maintain over a period of time. Now it’s half the season and they’ve been able to still remain top that’s a big boost to them as they head into the 2nd half of the season. Maintain the position and their form and they’ll be off the run and away with the league title
I don’t think this Bayern Leverkusen side will experience the same badluck like Dortmund especially when you watch them play you feel the difference, their strategy is very different and uneasy for other teams to understand yet that's why they're so invisible lately and I believe they'll still remain consistent for a while.
Bayern Leverkusen is still the only team in the top five leagues in Europe that has not lost in their home league. They have also surprised teams like Bayern Munich and Dortmund this season, and they are currently leading Bayern with four points ahead of Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table. Bayern still has one game left to play, and if they win, they will trail Leverkusen by one point.
Bravo to Leverkusen's coach Xavi Alonso for turning them into a formidable team that virtually every team in Europe will have to prepare for before beating; and praise to the players for their outstanding effort in maintaining form and performance, hopefully without being impacted by injuries.
