Betis - Girona was a balanced game in general. Girona started to accept the game in their half after getting ahead by 1-0. Betis tried to improve their attacks more in the second half and they got what they wanted in the last minutes finally. For once I thought Girona were really going to be victorious in this quite challenging away game.
In the end Real Madrid also got a 1-1 draw against Betis away recently. Girona also got the same result. If Real Madrid don't make big mistakes they should be able to beat Alaves easily. This must be enough to carry them to the top in the standings if I'm not wrong.
They're already having difficulty winning with that red card from Nacho Fernandez. Winning would see th equal the points with Girona but it doesn't seem like that will eventually happen tonight.
Against the top clubs above tenth position, they have some difficulties playing but have won Barcelona though so that doesn't really counts.
With what I'm seeing, it'll be Girona at the top of the standing for the first half of the season, if they can get players to balance them up during the transfer window, then they can continue same way up ahead.
