Betis - Girona was a balanced game in general. Girona started to accept the game in their half after getting ahead by 1-0. Betis tried to improve their attacks more in the second half and they got what they wanted in the last minutes finally. For once I thought Girona were really going to be victorious in this quite challenging away game.
Girona couldn't keep up their form to top the table before the end of the first half of the season. I had a feeling that it was going to be a though game for Girona because Betis is a good team and they are at home. I knew Girona would score so I played them to have a goal, the odd was actually big and I was surprised why it that big.
Real Madrid had a dying minute winner against Alaves and now they're top of the La Liga going into the next year. It's going to be hard for Girona to get back on top because I feel Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona would be very serious next year and might occupy the top spots. At the same time, Girona doesn't look like a team that'll slow down so time will tell.
