Many alt coins experience price fluctuations and some may eventually fail. Although Solana has seen significant growth and adoption in recent years, there is no guarantee that it will reach a new high during the next bull run. But i think Solana will go up 10x or more in the next bull run and also there are several altcoins which are down at least 10x in the recent bear market like  Aave (AAVE), Chainlink (LINK), Uniswap (UNI), Polkadot (DOT)  And has the potential to easily be 10x or more in the future. I can certainly understand the appeal of investing in established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum for predictable returns.
