I was born in 2004. A few days ago, I happened to know about bitcoin. In fact, the concept of cryptocurrency existed even before bitcoin came out. But now bitcoin has become the king of cryptocurrency. Which means investing in cryptocurrency is no longer an early investor. Now I can't buy even 0.1 bitcoins for $100, but in the past someone bought a few hundred bitcoins for $100. This makes me very hopeless. In the past, when bitcoin was $1,100x means a hundred dollars for bitcoin, but it's hard to imagine a 100x from current price. it's very depressing because I think it's too late to invest in a great invention that comes out maybe once in a thousand years.
Sorry to hear that you learned so late about bitcoins, but better late than never. You shouldn't feel bad about not being part of the crypto community early on. Many users here on the forum, me included, only joined late and never saw the Bitcoin price at 100 USD. Which is also why I would still consider investing today, because the chances for Bitcoin to ever reach 100 USD again is almost 0. The times of making 100x returns are over and will not come again, it's just not possible for BTC to grow so high from the current levels. This shouldn't make you depressed, there will always be new opportunities to make high returns. Right now, Bitcoin is a solid investment that is going to make decent returns in the future. If you don't own any Bitcoins yet I would highly recommend you at least buy some. In my opinion crypto currencies and especially Bitcoins should be part of any portfolio, even at the current levels. Don't be too hard on yourself, there are many other great investments and you shouldn't focus on the ones you missed.
