Its going to be an interesting period when the round 16 will kick off in the UEFA champions league.The teams that are expected to go through this round to the quater final are Madrid,Bayern,Manchester City, Arsenal,Dortmund,I Include Dortmund because they are so good this season in the Champions league, finishing first in their group of death is not an easy task,so I will include them to go far past the round 16 stage.There are other teams that will push towards making the quater final,but i'm optimistic about this few I mentioned.I really can't wait for this period to come because it is through this league that the best teams in the world are known.Last season,it was Mancity,but I doubt if they will be able to defend the tittle this season.
All the teams you mentioned above deserve to continue their journey to the quarterfinals and indeed Dortmund went through the hellish group to get to the round of 16. The team from Germany proved that they still deserve to be a regular team in the round of 16 along with Bayern Munich and Leipzig of course. Dortmund repeatedly had to stumble in the group stage and they managed to solidify their steps with a win on matchday 5 against Milan. In the last match against PSG, Dortmund only played a draw and this result was enough to keep them as group winners.
Manchester City is indeed still a strong candidate to win this season, but it doesn't seem to be easy considering that all the strong teams have updated their squad depth and if you want to test the results then we hope that Manchester City can face one of the strong teams in the quarterfinals later. However, I think there are only two teams that can be on par with them at the moment, between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
