Indeed, there is still no player who can replace Lautaro Martinez's role at Inter. He has always been Inter's attack motor and is also the current top scorer. The injury suffered will of course be a blow to Inter and also Inzaghi who must make a strategy to be able to fight back against Atletico. because it was clear that the fate of the two teams was not so good when they had to meet earlier. in the round of 16.

Just hope that before the second match, Lautaro Martinez can be confirmed as recovered. Inzaghi may not be able to force the healing process. but he certainly hoped he wouldn't be long.

I think this is something that no team wants. Injuries to key players have a very negative impact on the team's performance, especially if it is an elite level competition such as the Champions League. This is the same as the injuries to Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne at City which will cause their performance to decline drastically. Inter have to face Atletico which is of course a difficult match. It will be interesting to see how Inzaghi will strategize to deal with this problem.

When facing Bologna, Martinez was injured and that was a very bad dream for Inter, in the Inter squad itself there were no players like Martinez, fortunately, the UCL match between Inter vs Atletico Madrid will take place in February next year, there is still time for Martinez to recover from his injury.

Meanwhile for Man City, their performance immediately changed drastically because their main players were injured, even though there are many important matches that Man City will experience in the future, but I'm sure Pep Guardiola's target is the recovery of their injured core players, even though the next match will be Man City. City will face Copenhagen but this victory cannot be taken lightly, Copenhagen could give a big surprise.

Naturally, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi won’t want to be without Martinez and Dimarco for two long.

Both of the duo have key roles for the Nerazzurri.

So the big question will be when the two Inter players can return.

And according to the Gazzetta, it should be a couple weeks on the sidelines for both.

They will of course miss this evening’s league match against Lecce. And in six days’ time Inter are in action again, facing Genoa in Serie A.

Martinez and Dimarco will not likely be fit for that match.

Don't worry. Lautaro will be back in the couple weeks later along with dimarco. have you seen that how the secondary players are also performing so perfect in the match last match? im not even worrying it for serie a but UCL kinda different compared to it.
Im valuing lautaro martinez as the main weapon that was helping intermilan to threatening other big club like rela madrid and bayern munich. I can patiently wait for those important players of intermilan to recover from their injury.

The news from sempre makes me feel lautaro may take a few weeks to fully recovered from his injury, as long as he will able to play and the chance of intermilan to get into the final is quite big.
We can also aim inter to enter into the quarter final too. Intermilan has lautaro martinez as a player that was always threatening other club. Atletico madrid needs to make sure it has strong defense before the club faces acmilan next months.
