That's true because they see some people can make money from gambling and want to get it too so they think they can make money like those people. There are indeed people who can make money from gambling, but there are not as many people as there are people who lose from gambling. They know that they have to be careful when playing gambling and must be really strict in using their money to gamble. We cannot compare ourselves with rich people in gambling because the amount of money is very different and they can gamble using more money than us. We can only gamble in moderation because if we don't, we will lose a lot of money, which we will regret.
The amount of money you gamble doesn't really change the odds you have in a game.
Basically rich people can stay there, playing for a longer time. But they will inevitably get to a point where they don't have more money to bet with.
