That is the Premier League for you. I was not surprised to see that Aston Villa was not able to beat Sheffield United at Villa Park when people see the match as an easy match for Aston Villa based on how Aston Villa has beaten the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City this season.

Aston Villa has been performing well this season. The most disappointing aspect of this match is that they were beating at Villa Park. I know Sheffield will be proud gaining 3 points from Aston Villa. I think Aston Villa should sit tight for their next coming matches to achieve victory.
Aston Villa scored a late goal against Sheffield United that earned them a draw at Villa Park on Friday night. Aston Villa's next match is against Manchester United and I believe Aston Villa to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford because of the inconsistency of Manchester United this season.

Aston Villa did fail to grab the first position. But at the same time, they are still only one point behind. So I don't think they will have to regret too much about that. But it definitely could have been very nice for them if they actually were able to do so. It is definitely surprising to see them performing so well. But they have been performing well. And so far they have been pretty consistent. I don't know if they will be able to continue performing so consistently throughout the whole season or not. But the improvement that they have shown so far suggests that they are a better team now.
