PSG's performance in the Champions League is a bit doubtful because PSG doesn't seem to have the enthusiasm to play in the Champions League, they are just trying to fight hard to qualify for the round of 16 and look like they are having difficulty getting there, but indeed PSG is in quite a tough team like Milan and Dortmund so that This made PSG have to fight hard to qualify and it was fortunate that PSG was able to qualify with only a goal difference from Milan.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad is also in a tough group like Inter and Benfica, but Real Sociedad has not experienced a defeat at all, even though this is the first time Real Sociedad has competed in the Champions League, but this club was able to emerge as group winners even though it has the same points as Inter.

Real Sociedad's enthusiasm cannot be doubted and it looks like PSG will experience difficulties when facing Real Sociedad, but PSG experience competing in the Champions League cannot be denied but if PSG cannot achieve unexpected results, it will still be difficult for PSG to advance to the next rounds.
PSG are a good side but they've not really been so good as one would expect them to be. Even their advancement was a narrow one and then they're fixed with a new coming team to the UCL who are eager and hungry to compete and still go far in the contest. PSG still got a shot though, well let's see how far they'll get this season in the UCL tournament.

Not trying to be little Sociedad but PSG has got players with UCL experiences and then judging with that they've got an upper hand but for Sociedad, even though they're newbies to the tournament, they had an intriguing record in the group stage ans so they ought to be given that respect that's deserving of them. They're still a threat. They're doing well also in the La Liga and they seem like real goal getters. All will be concluded after the first leg results in February.
I agree with you that Real Sociedad deserves the respect it deserves, qualifying as group winners and competing closely with Inter Milan is a signal that PSG needs to be wary of. In terms of attributes and experience of playing in the UCL, PSG has a better advantage, but we cannot use that as a complete benchmark. Sociedad didn't make it through to the last 16 easily either, it was their strength and effort that got them through at this stage.

I want to see this meeting from Luis Enrique point of view, his experience coaching Barcelona and the Spanish National Team gives PSG an advantage when meeting Sociedad. The advantage I mean is that Enrique really understands the character of the Spanish representative, so he can prepare his squad well to beat Sociedad.

It's true that PSG this season is far from great in the UCL, but I feel that to qualify for the quarter-finals they can do it. This is a moment that PSG must make good use of, while Mabeppe is still at the club. Yes, we need to wait to see how each of them performs before february, many things have changed because there are several matches that must be finished first.
