The interest is one of the best features they have and from the moment they launced it, I made use of it. In total I have earned an extra 0.025 BTC thanks to this, which is not bad at all. With the premium membership (from a certain tier ), you can also earn even more interest; right now my interest rate is 4.49%.
That is right. With premium program you can earn up to 5.10% (+1.02%)* annual interest. I'm not aware of any other legit platforms paying such rates. In my opinion it's a pretty decent rate, considering we are being paid in BTC, and not altcoins or fiat currencies, which are highly volatile or have its purchasing power eaten by voracious inflation. The profitability on long run is huge, but you have to be disciplined to not spend your earnings on gambling inside the platform, otherwise you might put the progress you took years to achieve in risk.

One of the strongest points of freebitco.in investment is that we know where they make money from, and that is a reliable source of income, just like casino bankroll investments were years ago. For this reason, I consider it a superior alternative to lending platforms, especially after the Celsius' fiasco last year from the scammer Alex Mashinsky.
I am not sure if the math is right, but I know that it's 4%+ last I checked, so it's not too far away. Which has always been ben calculation point, I do have some fun tokens and it's not important, even with 4% that means we are going to end up with something great if we want to retire. How? Well, if I have some bitcoins, then I could make some return from it, and that's the most important part, I understand that it may feel like it is not enough but it's the perfect retirement plan. You put your bitcoins there, your bitcoins are both going up in dollar value, but you are also making income to live.

So, for you to make about 12k a month (1k per month is enough for me) you need 300k worth right now, and that's about 6 bitcoins give or take. I do not have that of course, but if I did, that's what I would do to retire and it would be perfect situation. I get that it is going to be a dream to have that much, I do not have much money anyway, so having 6-7 bitcoins is only a dream, but it is a good dream.
