We can't really stop gambling in my opinion it is going to be a part of our life, it's a business so all we need is discipline to gamble responsibly, and know our limits on things kind of things because, at the end of the day, gambling is just false hope.
it is a right for everyone, like a vape or smoking cigarettes, we can't stop them to suck it on in public places if the prohibition sign is not there. Gambling is not a general social problem, but an individual problem. So if the country has a problem with that, I think, what the government can do 1st is make wide socialization in public areas, not applying punishment directly and blindly. the government should know that today gambling is become a big problem if used by minors, not by adults who are capable of managing money.
We can stop gambling. It's just about whether we want to or we still don't want to stop gambling. If we don't want to stop gambling, we can impose limits on gambling. Of course, we have to be responsible when playing gambling so that we don't experience the problem of losing a lot of money at the gambling table.

Gambling is an individual matter. If we really want to stop, we have a strong intention so that we can stop. It is the same as the intention to stop smoking or vaping. But most people cannot stop gambling immediately. They tend to try to reduce their gambling activities first.

And slowly, if they feel the time has come to stop gambling, they will stop without anyone telling them to. Some people stop gambling because they are forced by those closest to them.

The government can educate the public about the dangers and impacts of gambling. But it's not easy because the government must be able to show what negative impacts can be experienced by someone who gambles. From this education, public awareness will grow that they do not need to gamble to have fun or to make money.
