Honestly, with the defense that  Leverkusen has about the consistency they can always maintain, then with that I can confirm the greatness of Xabi Alonso, yes now Leverkusen only has a difference of 4 points with Bayern Munich, I don't think it matters even though the difference is not too significant because obviously we have seen evidence from several matches they have passed that they can always dominate the match by winning three full points or at least sharing points. Next up for Leverkusen is Augsburg which I don't think is a particularly difficult game for them, I'm pretty sure of that.

Leverkusen is of course playing well. And I don't know if I can say that they are actually playing better than Bayern Munich or not. But I believe that even if I say that they are playing better than Bayern Munich, it won't be true. Because they have to think about the Champions League as well. Leverkusen also has to think about other competitions but those are of course not as hard or competitive as the Champions League. A lot of people will agree that Bayern Munich still has a good chance of winning the title. After all, they have been doing it for the last 11 years.

Xabi Alonso has to be praised. He has made the team perform well even when he doesn't have the best of players for service. But that's what coaches are supposed to do, unlike a certain someone like Ten Hag  Grin
