I am not even sure how the "sovereign citizen" thing became an argument within the United States, by the way. It sounds rather like a legal gimmick which was successfully used once many years ago in a very specific scenario or something like it and since then it has been fruitlessly used by others in order to try to flee their legal issues. I am not a lawyer or a person who lives in the United States, so I could be completely wrong.
Also, the narrative of contraception being a bad thing in the USA is also something I would have not expected to see from a developed country, here in my republic we witness very irrational things happening which are not supposed to happen in any country which is considered to be civilized and yet, we all here agree access to condoms is important.
It is a topic I would need to ask about someone from the USA when I have got the chance.
It is the church dude, mostly the Evangelicals in Brazil or the Methodists in US. Just ask anyone in continental Europe how difficult was to get rid of the massive influence of the church in politics, and it is not over yet in many countries. Nobody voted the priests, yet they think they hold authority on others because their "imaginary friend" tells them so.
Look, many of the people who fled to the former colonies, now the US were being prosecuted for a variety of reasons many times for religion, so they were quite deep into several forms of Christianism. That has stayed, but also now significant part of the church in the US it is no better than the fucking Talibans, they are all about imposing their narrow view of the world on others and particularly telling women what they can and cannot do.
Look, if you think abortion is wrong, you do not do it, but you do not have to impose that on others. It is not stealing, killing people in random shootings or getting a credit falsifying the value of your assets - it is not a crime and should not be treated as such (my own view is that there is a biological timeframe for it in which the foetus is not yet a person as there is no brain activity - just my view).

When the government wants to get rid of other religions... get them out of government... it's just so that their religion can stand stronger. Everybody loves the religion that he is in favor of... even government people.

No, politics is not a religion, is the activities that are built around the organisation of human groups (perhaps even the organisation of any social animal group). You think it is a religion because you are mostly an dumbass mis-educated by youtube videos and the wrong kind of "friends".
Politics should be religion-free, the moments of greater human progress have been when religion has been where it has to be - within the sphere of private beliefs.
I may be wrong, but I think he talks about politics as a religion in the context of Political parties being distorted in their basic fundamentals and objectives. It is something it has been studied before, I think. Some states and regimes trying to replace religion by their own party ideas and using repression against the churches within the state.
For instance, the National socialist party of Germany in the long terms wanted to replace the church with the devotion to the Fuhrer and the party, while the Soviet Union directly prosecuted and tried to restrict religion, un both cases there was an obvious cult of personality in favor of their respective leaders.
Ideally, parties and political leaders are not supposed to be about blindly supporting the head of state or the secretary of the party. If tomorrow Joe Biden got disgraced by some actual scandal, the democrat voters are not supposed to continue to support him the same way they do today. The opposite is happening with Trump, it does not matter how much he does wrong, he continues to accumulates support. We could then extrapolate that MAGA is the opposite of what good politics is and the opposite of that a good party is, it looks more like a church than a political party at this point, tho.
I personally have come to the conclusion that Trump is effectively the leader of a criminal organisation (let's call it the MAGA Mafia). They are fully into sending murdering mobs to kill their political opponents, radicalising people to the point of assaulting their political rivals in the homes, coerce judges in social media and create a state of fear in society.
